Is there a free trial?
Yes — every paid plan starts with a 1-month free trial. You add a card at checkout but aren't charged until the trial ends; after the month it renews automatically at the listed price, and you can cancel anytime before then. Prefer no card at all? The Free plan is free forever.
Do you charge per verification?
No. You connect your own provider account and pay that vendor directly (typically $0.50–$1.50 per check, often free at low volume). We charge a flat monthly fee for the gate, the 50-state ruleset, routing, and the audit trail — never a markup on checks.
How do law updates work?
On Growth and up, when a jurisdiction changes its law we apply the update to your gate automatically. On Free and Starter, we notify you the moment it changes and you apply it in one click — so you're never the last to know. Any jurisdiction you've set yourself is never changed without you.
What can I customize, and what's white-label?
Your business name is on the gate on every plan, including Free (in Verisdiction's colors). Starter and up unlock your own color, logo, and a choice of skins — with a small “Age gate by Verisdiction” credit. Pro and Enterprise remove that credit entirely (white-label), so only your brand shows.
What's “managed enforcement”?
The one-line snippet runs in the visitor's browser, so a determined user could disable JavaScript to skip it. Managed enforcement runs the gate at our edge, before your page loads — unbypassable, fails-closed. You add one DNS record (a CNAME), flip it on, and we run it; nothing to install and no code to deploy. It's included on Pro & Enterprise, or a +$29/mo per-domain add-on on other plans.
Why is full state coverage in the free plan?
Because a gate that only covers some states isn't compliance — it's a liability with gaps. Coverage is the product. We differentiate on number of domains, international reach, automatic updates, white-label, and audit depth — never on leaving you exposed.
